Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
A specific item can be used to develop specific Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools to raise their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being utilized. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that are visible when they are used. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, bought from Karma merchants, or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be salvaged from equipment and used as rewards.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with distinct bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be applied to any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that have been ascended. Slotting in an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be inserted into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes registered trademark symbols, as well as glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. gear improvement may also include up to four secondary stats that influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the selected item. Glyphs can be improved by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will earn. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they can best benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs may also offer double bonus when certain conditions are fulfilled.
If you're having trouble finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of different views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by choosing an option beneath "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing an account with a brand new username in order to increase your chances of obtaining the weapon or character you'd like. This can be done to aid in your progress to higher levels or to get better loot, such as the best weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their strength. This could be because they like the design or personality.
When you reroll, you need to ensure that the changes you are making are clear. This means you should verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests, and you should also run a core development check. You should upload the patch with a plain difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can be weeks or days long depending on how fortunate you are. During this time, you should avoid optional enemy camps to save time. Also, avoid repeating quests which can be completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

Sets

Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets to parity with items in higher-end sets. Upgrades such as Guillaume's Face Helm to the Elite Spired helmet could boost the defense from 217 up to 321 and reduce the strength and level requirements to a more achievable range.
However, it's important to note that not all set items are candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and don't need upgrading. On the other hand, some items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit from being upgraded to increase their performance. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
